History and the Future
Where did the Brotherhood come from?
In May of 2002, 5 members of Halos Finest Assassins left their former clan for the promise of a new start. These 5 Founders of the Brotherhood were Akira Sunfire, DDolak, Jester, StarScream, and Pheonix Knight. Their very first recruit was a web page expert named Zerostar. These 6 made up the original High Council of the Brotherhood. By August of 2002, the Brotherhood was growing rapidly. There were 3 new Council members. Andorynn, Dragos, and StegoKing had joined our leadership. We had developed into a family, but our family was growing rapidly. By December, the Brotherhood had grown too large, too fast. Dragos left the Council to join a different clan. A troublesome member, Star, left to start a rival clan, The Alliance. For the first time, the Council was in disarray. Alyndria and Remiden had been entrusted with the responsibility of a Council position, and both had given it up. Akira Sunfire and Pheonix Knight had been among the missing for months. Zerostar became our Nexus, the head of the Council. Around this time our staunchest rival, DeadScope 1 had broken up. We actively recruited their former members, and for the most part it backfired. Some of these members soon left and formed another rival clan, this time called simply DeadScope. They are now one of our enemies. In January we had a mass exodus of inactive and troublesome members. Some of these members left to form yet ANOTHER rival clan, Rogue Nation. This has been a singular blessing and has brought the total of Bro-spawned clans to three. The Brotherhood clan has developed into a tight knit family of gamers who truly care about the games, and perhaps more importantly, care about each other. We have become extremely picky in our recruiting, due to our earlier forgiving attitude that led to unworthy members in our ranks. Our current High Council consists of DDolak, StarScream, Metalzo, ArchAngel, Slipstream and Vipersniper. The Brotherhood is stronger than it has ever been, as is our competitive spirit. The idea of 'The Brotherhood' is finally everything it was intended to be. Our current roster boasts over 30 of the best gamers on Xbox Live. We are the world famous home of 'Friends to play Games with.' How do I make a difference in the clan? There are many ways you can make a difference I will list a few. #1: You can come up with the idea for a new rule to be used in the clan. In this situation, rank doesn't matter. If you suggest it to us it will be considered and maybe even approved and , if so, you will get credit for your rule. #2: You can lend us your skills in many ways including drawing, writing, reviewing, plan making, strategies, etc. Any skill that you have that you believe could help the Brotherhood, let us know so you can see your contributions helping our clan. #3: You are part of a close knit group of people who love gaming and want to share this with others, if someone is having a hard time with a game and you can help. This is what it means to be a Brother. Whether it's a game of Unreal and you are teaching others how to play it or telling someone how to get past the last boss on Hunter, it's all good! |
