"While reporting that Hong Kong-based director and Jackie Chan veteran Stanley Tong may helm a movie based on Fear Effect, the Hollywood Reporter today mentioned that Eidos is planning a third game in the long-running series.

According to the story, the third Fear Effect game is being developed for next-generation consoles. Eidos has not made any official announcements, however, and the company did not return requests for comment as of this writing."
